The Scorch is built to glide no matter your skill level — beginners get an easy, straight flier that fights to come back even in the wind, while advanced throwers can open it up for a high-speed turn and a late, fading finish that adds serious distance. Think of it as a longer Avenger SS with that same dependable S-curve flight. It's molded in Z Line, Discraft's firm, translucent plastic that can feel a bit slick fresh out of the bag but grips up nicely with some use.

The Scorch

The Scorch is designed to provide maximum glide regardless of your skill level. Beginner to Intermediate players will find the Scorch an easy to throw straight flier that will fight to come back even in the wind. Advanced players and Professionals can expect high-speed turn and a late finish producing amazing distance. The Scorch is like a longer Avenger SS. Making it a great distance driver that will have some turn and a decent amount of fade providing a consistent "S" curve flight path.

Z Line Plastic

Premium Plastic
Flexibility 2.5 / 5
Firm Soft

Discraft's Z Line, or Elite Z, plastic is a cornerstone of their premium offerings, prized by disc golfers for its unrivaled durability and striking translucent appearance. This hard, stiff blend is exceptionally resistant to impacts and wear, meaning your discs will maintain their original flight characteristics for a very long time, even after countless tree hits.

While a brand new Z Line disc can feel a bit slick initially, many players find that the grip improves significantly as the disc gets seasoned through use. Elite Z is often favored by pros for its consistent performance and ability to hold up to the rigors of competitive play, making it an excellent choice for discs you want to trust flight after flight.
