We are excited to announce team Scissortail! It is our commitment to help support those who are dedicated to growing the sport of disc golf.

Gabe LaBounty
Gabe started playing disc golf in 2016 by sharing three discs with a friend. They were hooked after that, and fully dove into the sport. Fast forward to 2024 and Gabe has run over 100 rounds of PDGA-Sanctioned Leagues, over 10 B-Tier tournaments, as well as co-directing an A-tier tournament in 2020.
Currently Gabe is the OKCDGA Secretary of the Board, the President of Iron Leaf OKC, and a voice for LGBTQIA+ inclusion in disc golf.
Want to join the ambassador team?
You don't need to be a touring pro to be on the ambassador team. Whether your dedication to disc golf is through content creation or being active in your local disc golf community, we want to hear why you think you would be a good fit for Team Scissortail!
Members receive free discs, minis and apparel when joining the team, as well as 20% off discs throughout the year. Team members may also receive tournament sign up reimbursements and training equipment like nets and practice baskets at our cost.
If you are interested in joining team Scissortail, be on the look out for when we open applications for the 2025 season later this year.
