Venture into another world with the Prism Proton Soft Vanish! Green C Studio illustrates the final OTB Open release through the lens of forgotten secrets at the bottom of the sea. The Prism Proton Soft Vanish will only be available in lighter weights, making it an amazing driver for beginners or players with lower power levels or a beautiful roller for higher power players. Let disc golf be your portal to another world with the 2024 OTB Open Prism Proton Soft Vanish!
The Vanish
The Vanish will be straight to understable depending on the thrower and wind conditions. The Vanish’s stability profile places it near a threshold of being straight at low power or in tailwinds, and controllably understable at high power or in mild headwinds.

Prism Proton Soft Plastic
Prism Proton has the grip and feel of traditional Proton plastic core, but with the added durability of a Proton rim. Prism Proton not only looks good, but feels excellent in the hand. It has the perfect mix of slick and grip. This plastic can also take a beating out on the course! Proton Soft plastic is the same durable translucent blend with an attractive candy look, but with more flex! This Proton Soft blend makes for great grip, even in the cold.
The Science of Gyro
Axiom's GYRO® Overmold Technology is a design that is produced through a two-step molding process that allows the outer ring to be made with a heavier material. The process of transferring mass away from the axis of rotation increases the disc’s moment of inertia at parabolic proportions.
Since linear and angular momentum and aerodynamics act upon each other simultaneously, an enhanced gyroscopic effect will improve all aspects of disc flight. Increased angular momentum of a disc in flight will allow the disc to stay on its rotational axis for a longer period of time, which means that its aerodynamic properties will be better exhibited for a longer period of time. When a thrower uses our discs, they will be able to achieve straighter, longer, and more accurate results.
The OTB Open
The OTB Open returns in 2024 for its fourth year on the Elite Series, and it marks the start of the West Coast swing of the Disc Golf Pro Tour.
The OTB Open partners with MVP Disc Sports to feature several exclusive releases with new molds, limited edition artwork, and discs in special plastic blends.
