The FD1 sits right between Discmania's FD and FD3 in feel, trading a bit of the FD's glide for extra low-speed fade that holds up well in the wind and rewards a precise release on both backhand and sidearm shots. It's molded in C-Line, Discmania's most durable plastic, wearing down slowly to keep its flight the same for a long time while offering good grip and a clear, glassy look.

The FD1

The FD1 is designed to fill the gap between their two icons, the FD and FD3. A stable flight with dependable fade is a winning combo for accuracy when you need to hit the fairways.

The FD1 will have some similarities to that of a FD in feel, but the glide has been stepped down a notch and low speed fade added to create more stability for windy situations and pinpoint accuracy. Players will fall in love with the FD1's relatively flat profile and smooth release on backhand and sidearm shots.

Discmania's FD1 has a high tolerance for speed and torque, meaning it can be thrown hard and is able to push forward on a straight and consistent flight path while finishing with a soft bite at the end. It has enough over stability to handle plenty of wind, forced turnover shots, and a wide variety of powerful shot shaping angles while maintaining a more throwable feel like a less stable disc normally would. You can rely on it to get you out of trouble, navigate tricky fairways, and conquer all conditions on any given day.
