The Wasp is a dependable, slightly overstable midrange with a low profile and a noticeable bead, so it holds a straight line under power and finishes with a reliable fade when you ease off. It's a great choice in the wind or any time you need a predictable finish on an approach. It's molded in Z Line, Discraft's firm, translucent premium plastic that holds up for years and keeps its grip.

The Wasp

The Wasp is an overstable midrange with a low profile and large bead. The Wasp can handle full power throws for straight to stable flights or be used at lower speeds for technical flex lines that end with a consistent fade. This is a great disc for windy conditions and strategic fading shots.

Z Line Plastic

Flexibility 2.5 / 5
Firm Soft

Discraft's Z Line, or Elite Z, plastic is a cornerstone of their premium offerings, prized by disc golfers for its unrivaled durability and striking translucent appearance. This hard, stiff blend is exceptionally resistant to impacts and wear, meaning your discs will maintain their original flight characteristics for a very long time, even after countless tree hits.

While a brand new Z Line disc can feel a bit slick initially, many players find that the grip improves significantly as the disc gets seasoned through use. Elite Z is often favored by pros for its consistent performance and ability to hold up to the rigors of competitive play, making it an excellent choice for discs you want to trust flight after flight.
