The WMD is a high-speed distance driver with an extremely wide rim, built for players with the arm speed to use it. It isn't too overstable, so it's not just for the biggest arms. The rim width pushes its weight past PDGA limits, so it isn't approved and can't be used in sanctioned tournaments. It's molded in Survival plastic, a firm, chalky-gripped blend that holds up in wet and cold weather.

Doomsday maintains that the PDGA cannot approve the WMD due to the unfair advantage it gives to players with throwing arms like gorillas and hands as big as baseball mitts. But fortunately, it is not too overstable for the rest of us, so we can flex our malnourished muscles and tell our friends that we’re throwing an illegal disc and dare them to stop us.
