The Cataclysm is a distance driver that starts out straight and finishes with a moderate fade, without needing a ton of arm speed to get it going. Its rim is shaped a little differently than the Dystopia, so it gives you another option for shaping shots without feeling like a totally different disc. It's molded in Survival plastic, a grippy, chalky blend that holds up in bad weather.

The Cataclysm

A Cataclysm is coming. There’s no denying it. This driver starts out straight and finishes with a moderate fade without being too high-speed for the masses. With a slightly different rim shape than the Dystopia, it offers additional variety in shot-shaping without feeling very different.

Survival Plastic

Base Plastic
Flexibility 2.5 / 5
Firm Soft

Doomsday Discs' Survival plastic blend is a premium, high-performance baseline polymer engineered for absolute maximum grip and all-weather dependability. Built with a ultra-tactile, chalky hand feel, it gives throwers superior traction on humid, cold, or rainy days to build total confidence on every release. While it features a firm, unyielding structure that ensures clean, repeatable releases without thumb flexing, Survival plastic absorbs ground impact beautifully to cut down on flare skips—wearing in steadily over time to let players season custom, workable flight paths.
