The Glitch

The Glitch is a hybrid catch disc designed to blur the lines between disc golf and a catch disc. The Glitch has the diameter of a putter and is PDGA approved as well, making it truly the best of both worlds. The Glitch is the first MVP disc with 7 glide — just a flick of the wrist is all that stands between you and a game of catch on the beach or an approach to the green! Neutron Soft plastic makes the Glitch easily catchable when throwing around with a friend, but it also makes the Glitch an awesome approach or scramble disc because of its tendency to sit where it lands.

Its neutral flight path makes it a tremendous first disc to learn with — making it a great first disc for players with Ultimate frisbee backgrounds and lower power players! Available in 140g-154g, don’t let its light weight fool you, the Glitch has enough aerodynamic stability and glide to be a useful tool on the course. For anyone who loves to throw discs, either on the course or just playing catch, the Glitch makes an awesome companion for a fun time and some awesome lines. Proton Soft Plastic

Proton is Axiom's highly durable, premium plastic. It's translucent blend comes in an array of candy colors and offers some flexibility that feels great in the hand. Proton Soft plastic is the same durable translucent blend with an attractive candy look, but with more flex! This Proton Soft blend makes for great grip, even in the cold.

The Science of Gyro

MVP's GYRO® Overmold Technology is a design that is produced through a two-step molding process that allows the outer ring to be made with a heavier material. The process of transferring mass away from the axis of rotation increases the disc’s moment of inertia at parabolic proportions.

Since linear and angular momentum and aerodynamics act upon each other simultaneously, an enhanced gyroscopic effect will improve all aspects of disc flight. Increased angular momentum of a disc in flight will allow the disc to stay on its rotational axis for a longer period of time, which means that its aerodynamic properties will be better exhibited for a longer period of time. When a thrower uses our discs, they will be able to achieve straighter, longer, and more accurate results.
