Get ready to have your mind blown by this “Sonic Eruption” on the Prism Proton Soft Pyro! Ripper Studios adorns the release of this overstable midrange disc that has become a staple in an untold number of bags around the world. Bringing enough stability to maintain consistent flights in strong winds and high torque power throws, the Pyro will stay on target. When a consistent midrange is needed - look no further than the Prism Proton Soft Pyro!
The Pyro
The Pyro was designed as Axiom’s first overstable Midrange with more glide than the MVP Deflector and a commanding stable finish. The Pyro has enough stability for consistent flights in strong winds and powerful throws without losing its line and turning off target.
Prism Proton Soft Plastic
Prism Proton has the grip and feel of traditional Proton plastic core, but with the added durability of a Proton rim. Prism Proton not only looks good, but feels excellent in the hand. It has the perfect mix of slick and grip. This plastic can also take a beating out on the course! Proton Soft plastic is the same durable translucent blend with an attractive candy look, but with more flex! This Proton Soft blend makes for great grip, even in the cold.

MVP Gyro Technology
MVP's GYRO® Overmold Technology is a design that is produced through a two-step molding process that allows the outer ring to be made with a denser, heavier material. The process of transferring mass away from the axis of rotation increases the disc’s moment of inertia. An enhanced gyroscopic effect will improve all aspects of a disc's flight.

The OTB Champions Cup
In 2025, the PDGA Champions Cup will be held at Swenson Park in Stockton, California. This venue is well-known to disc golfers as the site of the OTB Open. However, to avoid a conflict with the DGPT's policy against athletes competing in multiple points-earning events on the same course within a season, the PDGA Champions Cup will replace the OTB Open on the 2025 DGPT schedule.
OTB partners with MVP Disc Sports to feature several exclusive releases with new molds, limited edition artwork, and discs in special plastic blends.
