Golden Retriever

The Golden Retriever is built to pull your disc back when it lands somewhere you can't easily reach, down a bank, in the brush, or out in the water. It's made from steel with a powder coat finish, and Teflon bearings keep the line moving smoothly as you reel it in. It comes with both a 15-foot and a 35-foot length of rope, so you can match the reach to the situation, whether that's a quick save near the bank or a longer cast out into deeper water. To use it, you unwind the rope, anchor the end to your wrist or a nearby tree, and toss the retriever past your disc; the lower bar slides underneath and grabs hold as you pull it back to shore. It's especially useful for discs you can see but can't safely wade out to, and most players find it pays for itself after saving just a couple of discs that would've otherwise been lost for good.
