This Photon carries the signature of 5-time World Champion Elaine King, part of MVP's first signature series release. On the course, it flies like a longer version of MVP's Tesla, giving bigger arms some extra turn to work with while still finishing with a reliable fade for everyone else, and it naturally fights through headwinds. It's molded in Fission, MVP's ultralight plastic that uses tiny embedded microbubbles to shave weight off the core while keeping the flight characteristics of a heavier disc.

The Photon

The MVP Photon is a high-speed, controllable overstable distance driver engineered to handle raw power and windy conditions with absolute flight reliability. Featuring a moderately wide rim and a flat-to-slight dome profile, it offers a comfortable, aerodynamic feel for both high-velocity backhands and aggressive forehand snaps. Enhanced by GYRO overmold technology for a longer, more stable spin, the Photon resists flipping over under heavy torque, holding a straight, forward-pushing line before committing to a hard, dependable fade at the end of its flight. Advanced throwers can rely on it as a go-to workhorse for precise placement drives and flex shots, while developing arms will find it an excellent, wind-fighting distance utility.

Flexibility 3.0 / 5

Firm Soft

MVP Disc Sports' Fission plastic is an advanced, high-tech blend engineered to deliver lightweight performance without sacrificing durability or grip. By embedding micro-bubbles directly into the core matrix of the disc while concentrating density into the outer GYRO overmold, Fission allows players to throw lighter weights while maintaining the flight characteristics and wind resistance of a much heavier disc. In the hand, it features a slightly flexy, ultra-grippy matte finish that provides exceptional tactile traction in all weather conditions, making it an ideal choice for throwers looking to boost their arm speed, maximize distance, and retain total control on every release.
