Celebrate the April 8th Total Solar Eclipse with the first release of the Axiom Pitch! Matthew Jorde commemorates this moment, a 4-minute long eclipse of the sun, on our delightfully colorful Total Eclipse plastic. Featuring color glow cores and rims, the Total Eclipse Pitch is the perfect way to celebrate when the lights go out.
WARNING: looking directly at the sun can cause permanent retinal damage. Remember to use special eye protection for the optimal viewing experience!
The Pitch
Similar to its immensely popular cousin, the MVP Glitch, the Axiom Pitch is a hybrid catch disc – intended to provide a fun way to warm up, while being a uniquely glidey approach disc all on its own. The Pitch features a refined wing and slightly more rounded hand feel compared to the Glitch, making the Pitch just a bit less stable while maintaining the glide you expect from it.

Eclipse Plastic
Eclipse plastic is a blend of MVP's Proton plastic with a new color glow blend! Hit these discs with some light and they will carry a bright glow to keep the game alive after dark. Axiom Eclipse Proton plastic is a highly durable blend for a consistent flight round after round.
The Science of Gyro
Axiom's GYRO® Overmold Technology is a design that is produced through a two-step molding process that allows the outer ring to be made with a heavier material. The process of transferring mass away from the axis of rotation increases the disc’s moment of inertia at parabolic proportions.
Since linear and angular momentum and aerodynamics act upon each other simultaneously, an enhanced gyroscopic effect will improve all aspects of disc flight. Increased angular momentum of a disc in flight will allow the disc to stay on its rotational axis for a longer period of time, which means that its aerodynamic properties will be better exhibited for a longer period of time. When a thrower uses our discs, they will be able to achieve straighter, longer, and more accurate results.
