The Hydrogen

Hydrogen is Loft's slow, flat and super-straight flagship putter. It doesn’t turn, it doesn’t fade and it doesn’t glide. It just holds the line you put it on.

Hydrogen is a putter for both putting and short range driving in disc golf. The design is optimized virtually through Loft's cutting-edge flight path simulator to create the straightest small diameter putter possible within the Professional Disc Golf Association standards, while still offering great grip comfort for both putting and driving.

Beta-Solid Plastic

Beta-Solid plastic is Loft's putting-optimized baseline plastic. It is a relatively stiff blend for a great release out of the hand, but still has a great grip and a slightly tacky feel for grabbing chains.

Definition of Point-and Shoot

Løft's first disc is so much like a traditional Frisbee, I think it may have inspired the Glitch that came out 2 years later. Like much of Løft's lineup, it is not built like most other golf discs out there, as you can read about above. The science and 3D modeling Løft has used to develop their discs results in a putter that actually does what so many companies and reviewers say a disc will do and holds any line you put it on.

The β-solid Hydrogen is incredibly resistant to turn, but has about 0.75 fade out of the box, but a few turns around the course will leave you with a straight-flying putter that can also hold hyzer and anhyzer lines without deviating from the line. This putter does not go the farthest, but what you sacrifice in distance you gain in control. I have not put any disc under the basket on an approach more than the Hydrogen and I don't think there will ever be a replacement for it in my bag.
