The Bearkat
In honor of Lone Star Disc Founder's alma mater, Sam Houston State University, the newest addition to the Lone Star Disc lineup is a slightly understable midrange called the "Bearkat".
Similar to the BB6, the Bearkat features a gradual and predictable turn. Making it the perfect disc for long turnover shots or riding gentle lines through the woods. Where the Bearkat differs from the BB6 though, is in the hand feel. While the flight of the Bearkat has a little overlap with the BB6, you'll find the beaded rim and shallower profile of the Bearkat provides a totally different hand feel while adding a tick of speed.

Alpha is a premium, durable, high quality plastic blend and is manufactured in Texas. It has great grip and will hold up to years of use. Lone Star's premium plastic is offered in two stiffness levels, Alpha and Bravo. Alpha plastic is the firmer version. It can be compared to Discraft's ESP plastic.
